Growth Conditions
Temperature: 25.0°C
Duration: axenic
Protocol: ATCCNO: 12910 SPEC: Aseptically add 0.5 ml of the growth medium to the inner shell vial containing the filter paper and incubate at 20C in the dark. Maintain the level of the medium in the vials at 0.5 ml during the incubation period. Observe daily for motile cells (motile cells should be observed within 6-8 days after rehydration). When numerous cells are evident, transfer the entire liquid contents of the vial (not the filter paper) to a tube of fresh medium and incubate at 25C.
